We consider this course very important because it impacts the student with knowledge of food production from the farm, food production & culinary arts in the kitchen  to the safety of food on the table.

In addition, Rapids College of Professional Studies boasts an agricultural farm, over 50 acres of land, that provides a holistic approach and practical training in horticultural practices and animal husbandry. Students will gain hands-on experience in:

1. Farm Management: Learning about the operational aspects of running a farm, including
   planning, production, and management of resources.
2. Horticulture: Training in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants,
   focusing on sustainable and profitable practices.
3. Animal Husbandry: Covering the care, breeding, and management of livestock,
   ensuring students are well-versed in modern agricultural techniques.
